People, please.....I'm gonna try to be nice and work from both sides. Yes, they may be just words, but there are several people who don't tolerate or appreciate those words that people have declared aren't more than "just words". Parents don't always monitor this site/app, so they can't be there to tell their kids not to use those words, though they may try to tell them when they use the words out loud. Now, I'm not completely clean. I have used one or two of them to get a point across, but never as just words. I think respect needs to be the biggest thing on braceletbook. Respect for others in not using swear words.

Yes, respect is the most important thing, not only on Braceletbook, but in life. But people that don't curse should respect people that do curse, don't they? If we talk about respect, everyone should respect. But of course if some curse words scape your mouth when you talk (that happens to me) it's not the same that put in you bio 25 of 40 bad words, just cause you think that's cool. It's not the same type of cursing, for me.

What about if a filter was developed for comments, keywords, forum posts etc, and Adik and Admin could decide which words are an issue, and then they could get an alert whenever someone uses these words and then could remove the comments speak to the user or whatever

I think part of the issue is what you consider a swear word. I said 'damn you guys are talented' in the chat and was told I was swearing by another user. Yet another user said I wasn't swearing at all. Swearing is monitored by the admin, the admin deletes what she considers swearing. Swearing by her definition, that definition isn't going to conform to everyone's idea and thus a certain level of tolerance must be considered.

Cursing ISNT allowed... So any if you who see it should report it to Adik in a message... I know I do. If we all try to report swearing hopefully we can get rid of all of it and make it a safe place for younger kids!

I agree, I have a rather foul mouth with friends, but never if there are children (or anyone who might find it offensive) nearby. I find it extremely rude and inconsiderate.

Oh. My. Goodness. YES!!! I HATE it when that happens!! I have a soccer teammate who is REALLY nice and she's a Christian and her dad is a pastor and stuff and I do believe she is saves and all but then she says a particular swear word a lot... It isn't beeped out in tv but I thing it should.... *SOO ANNOYING!!!*
