how long to make a 16 string?

I’ve been making bracelets for a little while and I’m intrigued to find out how long it takes other people to make bracelets to find out wether I’m fast or slow so on average how long does it take you to make a 16-string bracelet? I picked 16-string just because that is my favourite size. 🙃 |

I am quite slow at making bracelets so to complete a normal pattern about 16 stings wide, it will take be about 1-2 months.

i would assume no more than a week since i make 20+ string bracelets in a week and a half

If its a pattern i really enjoy, i would probs end up spending 3-5 days on it... Never made one tho, but it took a day for a twelve string

@rkade ah ok thanks. I usually make my bracelets in one or two sittings and just keep knotting 😁. When I do this a 16-string takes me about 3-3.5 hours.

Hi !! I have never made a 16 strings bracelet but I guess the timing depends more on the kinds of knots that you have to do. For example, if you are only doing forward knots on the entire bracelet the process will be faster, but then if you are doing a bracelet full of forward-backward or backward-forward, it may take a little longer 😊 hope it helped a bit ❤️

It usually takes me about 3 or more days. and when I mean days, I mean working on the bracelet every so often throughout the day.

@Romy4 a few hours each day, so maybe around 4-5 hours knotting in total, maybe a bit longer.
