When someone asks what you’re doing and you tell them ‘I’m making a friendship bracelet’ and they suddenly become an all-knowing expert because they made a candy stripe in summer camp eight years ago. Like thanks friend, I appreciate your interest- but please don’t compare that to the 46 string alpha I’m making before your eyes and talk down to me like a child for my hobby. 😬

I hate it when you cut the wrong number of base strings for your alpha and you've already done like 3 rows of your base color so you have to take it all out. 😤

Having to undo a big section of a bracelet over one knot or one super tiny mistake. It's just frustrating and risks breaking the threads and causing a whole other, bigger, problem

having one knot a little too loose, but you think it'll be fine so you carry on the bracelet but it ends up flopping really bad so you have to unpick all the knots 😫literally happened with the last bracelet i made and i wanted to cry for a solid 20 mins when that happened. |

Probably when I don't leave enough strings at the beginning of my bracelets for the ties 😤 I always do that mistake and I find it so annoying! I just finished untying a bracelet that i had started because the ties were too short and it really bothered me. Luckily i was still at the beginning of the bracelet and only had to undo around 10 rows.

When you’re making a bracelet and you’re (my) fat fingers slide along the string so much that it starts to unfurl. Or when you’re working with the super silky color changing string or metallic thread.

I hate when I’m making a bracelet in public and then people ask me to make them one... like of course I’m going to say yes but I hate telling them I’m going to have to charge for it and sometimes I just want to make what I want to make... selfish, I know 😂

one of my friends will be watching me make a bracelet, and they'll just be like "that's not impressive," 😤and I'm like "okay, thats your opinion. I'm still proud of myself for knowing how to do this! You couldn't remember the URL braceletbook.com if you wanted to!" 😤 "I bet it's easy!" 😤 "mmm-hmm." 😤 "I'm telling you, it is!" 😤 By that point, I'm so angry, I'm practically yelling at them. "Listen, I know how to do all this stuff and YOU don't! If I tell you it isn't easy, you'd better believe it!" 😤 It REEEEAAALLYYYY bothers me when people say that kind of thing 😤 😤 😤 😤 😤 😤 At least one of my friends thinks it's cool. 🙂 |

When I show all my bracelets to my mom when I’m done and she says they all look the same!! I purposefully pick patterns that are very different from each other and a spend a long time on my bracelets so when she tells me they all look the same, it’s so annoyinggggggg. I put so much effort and they aren’t even close to looking similar. They have different colour scheme and different patterns!!!

When I am making an alpha and in one of the rows I accidentally skip a base string and I keep going unknowingly and then I have to take out like half of the bracelet!!!! 😤 😭
