@question Knotters, what gets on your nerves the most? (Bracelet related please)

My answer is when you spend 5-6 hours on a bracelet and someone you hardly know asks “OoO i LiKe Ur BrAcElEt CaN i HaVe It?”

I’ve knotted at school before and sometimes people will ask if they can try to do a few knots. It’s annoying because I’ve been working on it for hours and it’s a rather complicated pattern too, but oh well.

Omg @Kalyee that happened to me this year and it took me A WEEK to undo the wrong knots that someone made😣

When people see me making a bracelet and then ask if they can have one even though I tell them that it’s very complicated and takes too much time

When I read a pattern wrong and have to redo the whole section, or if I accidentally miscount the number of strings for a pattern

Realizing you made a mistake several rows back... 🙄

It is kind of frustrating when I make a mistake and don't realize it until a good part of the bracelet is made. But it is also frustrating undoing knots and the string separates and/or gets tangled.

Having to unpick knots because I made a mistake 😐, I also hate the process of cutting strings because I hate seeing a whole skein of floss disappear before my eyes😂

i hate miscalculating the number of strings i need... yesterday i was trying to start a bracelet that had two colors with 8 strings each so there are 16 strings in total. i wanted to make a loop but stupid me was like 8 strings per color and then fold them! that equals 16 right?? i cut the strings that way and not only was i certain that that was right but also i didn’t even have enough string😂 so that was frustrating... i didn’t realize my mistake until about an hour later when i was string shopping on amazon. so yeah all i needed was 4 strings per color, fold them, becomes 8 strings per color, 16 strings in total.

i also hate it when i mess up in general... i was doing an alpha a couple days ago and i kept messing up on it and finally i just gave up on it 😂 i’ll try the pattern again probably at some point because i really like the pattern, i’m just inexperienced with alphas

I sell my bracelets to help me pay for college, so it’s a bit disheartening when someone asks to have one for free! But it’s nice to know that people enjoy my work🙂
