What is an alpha pattern?

Basically, it's a type of friendship bracelet that you have one leading string that you knot onto a row of strings and you switch back and forth with different string colors depending on the pattern. I don't know if that makes sense, but there are some youtube videos that you can watch that explain it with more detail. 🙂
