How do you determine your price point to make bracelets worth your time to sell?
I like making bracelets for fun but selling them always feels like a hassle.
I want to be charging a price that makes the bracelet worth my time.

For a really simple bracelets like a chevron/candy stripe, prob no more than $2. For the more laborious bracelets, maybe between $3 and $10

I think you could base prices off of how much string the bracelet requires, how big or long is the bracelet, the quality of the bracelet, stuff similar to that. Depending on how long the bracelet takes you to make can also be a factor in pricing. Idk where exactly your selling bracelets, but I think looking around on Etsy could help form some ideas based off of other peoples pricing. I'm assuming you would like to make a decent profit off of them, so I think anywhere between like $3.50 and $15 (USD) would be a reasonable price depending on the size.

Dont forget if you're selling through etsy's website they take a portion of every sell and that theres a fee for listing an item.

When I go to craft shows, I like to price mine by string, like 20 cents a string, then by my time as well. So, if it was an 8 string chevron, $1.60 without the time, and since I have been making those a while, it takes me 30-45 minutes, so I would say I could maybe add on like $2.50. If it was a more difficult bracelet, and took longer, you would add on more for your time. I really hope this makes sense and helps you! 👍

I charge in groups/categories. I honestly think the price depends on where/how you sell them, though. Selling bracelets online is very different than in person. Usually for each category I would go up $0.25 to $0.50. If you sell in person, then make sure you sell in amounts that end with 0, 25, 50, or 75, too. If you do a price like $4.40 or $3.99, people may not buy your bracelet because they don't have that change to. Hope this helps!!!

Braids/other simple knots

4/5 string (usually I'd never make bracelets this thin, but I know some people do, so I put the category there)

6/7 string

8/9 string

10+ string

Anything extra thick/large
