how are keychains different then regular bracelets?

when i’ve made keychains in the past, i just do a loop and then do braided ends. i’ve seen a lot of posts on here about keychains and i’m wondering if they’re any different from the other bracelets.

It just really depends on how you want the key-chain to look. There's a few different ways you can make them. You could as you said do a loop and then thread the key-ring through the loop. You could also make them double-sided. Or you can attach the strings to the key-ring using Lark's-Head Knots (works better for patterns with minimal base strings as too many strings will make the pattern curve in the shape of the ring, if it's the round one you are using). Ir really comes down to personal preference whichever way you do it. I have done all three and like the results from all of them. 🙂
