I’ve noticed that certain mods place a limit on the amount of creations one can make for an official challenge however other mods do not. Why are the rules not consistent for challenges amongst mods? Why is this even a rule in the first place. If a person wants to make many creations why can’t they?

The limit of 10 bracelets/creations per pattern is not new and has always applied to all challenge whether or not the moderator specifically states it in the Challenge rules. We have a 10 bracelet/creation per pattern limit because we have had a problem with users abusing rewards for official challenges with small patterns in particular. |

Please note that the limit is not 10 bracelets/creations for the whole challenge. It is per *pattern*.

To echo the great response that KrazyKnotz said - yes, it's a rule that applies to each Official Challenge. 🙂 The rules for all regular Official Challenges are the same, but each mod puts their own voice into their explanations.I'm one of the mods who doesn't always mention this rule, depending on which of my challenge templates I use. I've forgotten to update some of my templates, and upon reading this, I've now realized that some of the wording of my past challenges might've been misleading, so I'll be sure to fix that for the future 🙂 Luckily for me, I've not had anyone breach the rule for any of my challenges 😅 as it's a very rare occurance in general. I'll also try and write it as clearly as possible for future challenges, as I've noticed in the past, I've confused users at times, (meaning, people misunderstand the rule and think there's a limit of 10 creations per challenge, when there isn't, there's a limit of 10 creations per the exact same pattern.) I like to think of the rule like this - if someone has found a way to make 10+ creations of the exact same pattern for an official challenge, then maybe perhaps that pattern, or their method of making it, isn't very challenging for that individual. One of the main intentions of the challenges is to challenge each individual to achieve something beyond what they would normally make 🙂 The rule wasn't meant to limit anyone's creativity, but rather to stop people from "cheating" basically. The rule was made to deter people from taking advantage of the points system for official challenges. |
