I know most of you use embroidery floss but I am using satin rat tail cords becasue of my chroinc pain issues. If I did embroidery thread I would never finish a project. Is there anyone else who use cords of any diameter or type instead of thread that have a clever organization idea for me? |

What organization do you mean like how you set them up? Or what type of string cord do you use?

If your cords come on spools with holes in the middle you can buy a wooden thread organizer. It has wooden dowels coming out of it to place the spools on. You can put it on your wall or in a drawer.

I mean how do you organize cords that aren't thread. No they are mostly in skeins and not spools sadly. I was also hoping for something more compact. But I thank you for the suggestion. |

I use both thread and cotton yarn to knot what I do is ,I take two fingers and rap it in spiral , then I pinch the middle and take off my two fingers , take plastic hair thing thats like loom band and tie it in the middle of the thread or cotton yarn , when I need more to knot with I just pull a bit out hope it makes sense hard to type it out |

@kirnaplaysIt does make sense. I do something similar. It's storing those twisted hanks that I'm having trouble with. Although I just realized that if I buy a couple more headband organizers I could put the hanks in those.... hmmmm |
