ok so I fell down a rabbit hole of trying to decide what I want to do as a job (i'm literally in my 2nd year of high school idk why I'm worrying about this) and I want to do something that combines music, science, and technology--right now the best thing I can find is music production which i've always been interested in but ideally I'd like something more on the research side of things so if anyone knows or has an idea of any sorts of majors out there that exist that are things that I can actually take in college and then get a degree in that's like all those things perfectly combined (its gotta have music tho pls like music is actually everything to me, that's the baseline) also one more little note idk should I go into music production software design because I used to love computer science but I fell out of love with it last year and I really don't wanna do that but also maybe last year was just an off year? I have literally no clue 😭 😭 😭 and yes I am a sophomore so I shouldn't have to worry about this, but here I am, worrying about it 👍 👍 👍 send help pls ❤️ |

You could do computer science or something similar with a minor in music. Also audio technology or music engineering?? Hope this helps.

Hey there’s usually an option at uni/college to do a double major or a major and a minor in different subjects! Also first year of college you typically have to take a couple first-year level electives as a part of credit requirements

There has been some kind of recent research into music therapy. I’m not sure if that’s exactly where you want to go, but it gives you a chance to study how music can benefit people suffering from different kinds of mental illness. Whether one type of music benefits one illness but doesn’t to another one. Idk it could be pretty interesting
