Hi everyone! So we have this local market, and multiple stores in town that support selling other people’s creations, and I really would love to sell my keychains! However I’m not sure how giving credit works. To be safe, I’ve already messaged some people asking if they mind me using their patterns, but how does all that work? Because I won’t be able to give credit all the time, so do I just have to ask people individually, or is it okay? Better safe than sorry kind of thing? I’m just not sure. Thanks!

If you sell bracelets, keychains, wallhangings made from a pattern on braceletbook, you can do so without giving credit.

It's good, if you ask the original creator of the pattern, if they mind, because not everyone is okay with it.

If someone tells you that they are only alright with it, if you credit them, then you need to figure out a way how to credit them, but generally you don't need to.

You're not allowed to sell the pattern itself though, that wouldn't be allowed whether you give credit or not, but I don't think this is what you meant.

Maybe @KrazyKnotz has a different reply.

Okay! All right this makes sense. Yeah, no, not the pattern just the made and finished string design 😊 Okay yeah I’m open to any advice/thoughts. Appreciate it thanks!! 💞
