i genuinely want to know if you guys give them to friends or family as i’ve seen some people with MASSIVE collections but they barely wear any themselves, personally i do give some to others even though i don’t know if they’ll cherish them forever and will still weir them until the strings break or that they just chuck it into a drawer never to be seen again

I actually started making bracelets recently cause a friend said he'd love one when we talked about the ones i wore (and had been wearing for years). I make them mainly for me, but if somebody says they like them, i'll make one for them. Because i have the same fear as you with the chucking them in a drawer forever haha. Right now I have 15ish for me, and I gave away like 5-6 🙂 I totally would gift one I didn't wear too much too honestly

I make them for my friends all the time. Last Christmas I made them for my cousins and my Grandmas. Some times I use them as birthday gifts. But I mostly make them for myself.

I used to wear a lot of mine (or if they were bookmarks or keychains, use them a lot) but the collection that I have lately has just been kinda building up. I did used to give them away. I still do a little bit, but I would give almost every single creation away and make something custom for each of my friends/family for their birthdays and some at holidays too. but I found that I kinda lost the drive to make them since I wasn't always making patterns that I really wanted to make all the time, so now I make more of what I want to make and I'll occasionally give some of those away, just because there's nothing I really need to do with so many bracelets and everything (although it is super cool to just see how much I've made and just look at the collection. And know that there's another whole half of that spread between other people's houses lol) but yeaaa

I have multiple shoe boxes and buckets full of bracelets in my closet but if I know I'm going to see a family member I occasionally gift them oneI don't use my bracelets or keychains they literally get made and I take a photo and they sit in boxes. |

They end up in lost in the narnia that is my room. If I do make I bracelet for someone I don’t tell them about it till it’s done because I know that if I do I won’t want to make it anymore. Keychains though I usually give away cause they’re quick and I don’t need twenty keychains

I love giving my bracelets to people! I don't like selling them because it take the joy out of making them. I like to imagine as I'm making the bracelet how it will hopefully brighten someone's day when I give it away. I also give them as donations to local causes.I spend a lot of time in doctor offices and like giving them to other patients and the medical/office staff. I figure if you have to go to the doctor, you could use something to brighten your day. Also, by brightening someone's day it brightens my day too! (which is especially meaningful to me because I struggle with treatment-resistant depression) |

I also really enjoy making them so I sell them at my school for very little, mostly because of the cost of the material! but I also give them for birthdays or just a gift, for example one day I brought some friendship necklaces to my best friends and we use them every day. 😄 ❤️

My love language is receiving and giving gifts so being able to make a personalized bracelet for my fiends is really fulfilling to me, I do it for every friend birthday and for Christmas gifts! It’s a ton of work but so worth it to me.
