I would like to make a pattern but have some questions about it.
1: how do I make one? Where do I click to start one?
2: how do I find out if it’s already an existing pattern?
3: do I have to be a certain rank to make one?

1. you make them on the website, you click on your profile pic and say create pattern
2. the generator will give you a warning if it already exists (to see what that means, try copying a simple pattern into the generator and saving it, then look at the warning on the write alpha/normal page) and if something very similar exists then a mod will decline it or you can look for other similar patterns
