I’ve asked this before but nothing has been working for me so I’ll ask again😭 where do y’all get your string? I use DMC and I love it but in my country it’s seriously 3.20$ A SKEIN. I was recently in the US and it was only 69¢ a skein😨 can y’all recommend some cheap DMC based in EU?? Pretty please😭🙏

i was about to say michael’s and then i read your entire thing and realized you dont live in the us. but yeah here its pretty cheap and each skein is only a few dollars or less. have you tried amazon? you could get it shipped from the us i think.

@ningc98 I’ve never found anything interesting on Amazon and shipping from the US to Denmark is also EXPENSIVE. Thx tho😭

I don't buy DMC often, but when I do, I have the fortunate opportunity of getting it cheap, which you sadly don't 🙁 I'm not sure how the shipping to Denmark is straight from the DMC website or how the pricing is as my computer seems to NOT want to handle changing its shipping location on the website to Denmark... one way to possibly get some embroidery floss a bit cheaper is by buying the big things of Petra thread (size 5), they run just over $6 USD but you do get a substantial amount... the only problem with this is that obviously you can't buy as many colors. Personally I've never used it but I have heard that it works for making bracelets. I'm no expert in DMC though, I always just buy the huge color assorted packs for super cheap on Amazon. I hope this offers up at least a consideration of something, but really the main problem is that the prices are obviously just not equal 😭

Thank you 😭 I find it super annoying that DMC is so expensive in Denmark but I find it hard to accept that I might have to get something else bc I prefer alphas. I like big Wallhanging which means that I need more of 1 skein for each color which is a problem when buying a bunch of different colors. Thank you tho❤️
