i hear a lot of people recommending this as a way to get large amounts of thread for cheap but how does it fair up to embroidery floss? is the texture extremely difficult or unnoticeable?

I have a roll of it. I got size 3 but I think you should go smaller. I have a photo of a bracelet labeled 7/2/24 and in that photo is a bracelet I used aunt Lydia’s as the white strings. It’s slightly bumpy irl but I do agree it’s a great way to buy black and white in bulk and is perfect for alpha base strings. I’m confident to say it works in both normal and alpha bracelets. In terms of texture aunt Lydia’s is less soft, but not irritating. My favorite thing about it is it doesn’t fray easily. Hope this helps!
