how do you guys store/organize your string??

There are plastic containers you can buy with little sections in them that are good if you keep string on bobbins, but I just sort them using little ziploc bags based on color and brand.

I use plastic containers but I take off half of the dividers. I keep the string on the skein instead of bobbins. It’s organized but easy to use

I usually put embroidery floss in one ziplock bag, and then my scraps in another bag that goes in a container with other craft strings. When I’m working on a project I bring out all the strings I know I’m gonna use and put in a old candy corn container that’s smaller and also full of skeins papers, and I put back the skeins in bag after I’m done a project. If a skein shrinks I normally fold up with rubber elastics, and if too small 10-50cm they’ll go in the scrap bag.

i have a box for scraps but it’s like really messy and tangled in there (still works though!) and for my unused skeins i keep those in a separate box and skeins that i’ve unwrapped onto bobbins i put those in another box. then i have another box just for crochet thread in case i need it

I have boxes that have tons of bobbins in them and I wrap the strings I’ve used and have leftovers for. My unused floss goes in color coded bags. My scraps go in their own container. All my extra supplies also goes in that container. Everything is also organized in rainbow order.

i use bobbins and a plastic container, it can be really time consuming but its worth it imo
