Anybody can identify as whatever they want. Intersex people physically exist, so there's at least 3 from birth. However, your body when you're born should not have to define your gender. I wear contacts because my eyes aren't perfect, but they were like that when I was born, right? Or as a kid, I liked pop music but now I really like rock. We change as human beings when we grow and the way you are at birth does not define you. My birth certificate says I was 7.6 pounds and a lot's changed since then. If someone finds a label that they identify with and it feels comfortable to them, there is no reason for them not to use it. Some people aren't comfortable labeling themself either, and they choose not to. There's all kinds of identities that come from boy and girl, and plenty of things outside that too. Genders aren't really a thing you can count, they just exist in all types of variations. It's like asking how many hair colors there are- you're not going to get a satisfying, objective, definitive answer because every single color is different. |

It is also important to love people no matter their gender orientation. Their identity isn't hurting you, and it is the gender they are comfortable with. In general, kindness and love is a better way of life than hate and contempt
