If you were to ever have kids when you are older would you convince your kids Santa is real?

I would but definitely would stop when they’re around 11-13.

Nah. I grew up knowing that Santa was just an uncle dressed up on christmas eve. My parents' theory was that if they lied about some random guy and later told me it wasn't real, what would I think of Jesus? Would He even be real to me?
And I thought that was very wise so I'll do the same for my kids

@Hylia224 I mean I don’t see it doing any psychological harm so I think you’re good lmao 💀 my parents tried convincing me however I never believed it they forced me to sit on Santa’s lap when I was 4 and I was traumatized 💀(thanks to them I’m scared of sports mascots they creep me out even though it’s harmless fun)

my parents always told me santa was real but when i was 9 or 10 i started realizing santa wasn’t real after catching my dad putting money under my pillow as the “tooth fairy”. i would let my kids believe that santa’s real but after awhile i’ll tell them santa’s not real

When I was a child, I believed in the Christkind, not in Santa.

On Christmas eve, someone would say they heard the bell of the Christkind. Then you would go to the room with the Christmas tree and all the presents where there because the Christkind had been there to bring them and you had just missed it.

I think a believe like this is easy to keep up because you don't actually see a person, so you can't figure out that something is sus. I think it is a nice tradition and it doesn't harm anyone. I'll definitely do this tradition with my children too one day. I think it is also good to keep the tradition of other gift bringers besides Santa alive.

I’m not sure. My parents are still trying to convince me (I’m a teenager) that Santa is real and I don’t believe in god or anything because of that sooo

I would. It was always such a fun part, but I would definitely talk to them before middle school

@fluffdoggy reminded me of my aunt that can’t accept the fact I’m 16 and still thinks I’m into things that I had an interest in when I was a toddler (she got me sponge bob pajamas size youth for Christmas last year)

I would likely let them find out he’s not real on their own unless they’re like over 13.
