Rest up!! I've gotten healthy within a couple days with just resting in bed.
Now is great time to catch up on reading or a quiet project, if you feel up to it
Hope you feel better very soon! 💛

I hope you feel better soon!

Have you figured out that it's definitely a cold and nothing else? 🙂

These are my recommendations:

Rest!
Eat foods that are nutrition dense, but easy to digest, like chicken soup for example!
Keep a tissue box or roll of toilet paper nearby for your nose.
Sleep with an extra pillow to breath better.
Take a shower with steam to help your nose.
Rest rest, and more rest!
Watch a cozy movie.

drink herbal tea! it tastes good and something warm would probably you be less congested
this might be me just being weird, but i feel all gross and tired when I just sit in bed all day so when I'm sick I'll get up occasionally and walk around or use the exercise bike in our basement. (unless I'm literally so sick I can't get out of bed) even just like 5 minutes of exercise helps an you'll also probably sleep better afterwards.

How to de-congest

1. Go to a nearby sink. Be sure to has tissues or toilet paper nearby.
2. plug your nose and nod while holding your breath for as long as you can.
3. When you’re done, just blow your nose and it should be at least a little bit better! ❤️

agree with everything said before me!

some added suggestions:
use a menthol inhaler / vicks vaporub
boil some water in a large bowl and keep your face above it, cover your head with a towel to trap the steam. bonus if u have any peppermint essential oil to add to the water

you'll be losing electrolytes and other nutrients with the congestion, so get food with lots of green veggies and electrolyte-boosting drinks (e.g. pedialyte, coconut water, even a little bit of pickle juice!!)

keep cool, try not to overheat

get well soon!
