I know that Alpha patterns can be used when beading on a loom, but does anyone ever use Normal patterns when beading? I'm wondering if it might work for brick stitch patterns, or maybe even peyote stitch patterns (if you do it sideways??). Has anyone tried this? How did it turn out?I'm new to beading (just in the researching process right now, I don't even have any beads yet) and am feeling underwhelmed by the amount of beading patterns out there, so I'm wondering if this would be a way to solve that issue. I'm not sure, because I never tried, but when I saw this tutorial (https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/148_brickstitch-alpha-tutorial/) I was also wondering, if it is possible to use normal patterns for beading in the way you describe.
