Alphas: left or right?

I'm honestly pretty curiousSo when you start with the leading string. Do you start on the far left string and work right or do start on the far right string and work left, against the pattern? I can't even attach a string going left because it just boggles my mind. I know how to do it, since it's the same going right but my brain is broken a bit. |

I always start on the left. I never thought of starting from the other side. Not sure, if I could. That's a really interesting question.

I also start from the left, bc that way it's easier for me to knot since I'm a right-hander (and by extension just better at fwd knots)! And most things I do are left-right. It'd be interesting to try it from the right side though!

yeah i start from the left and do forward knots for my first row! i’m also more comfortable with my forward knots because i started making bracelets by learning the candy stripe!!

I start on left as well because most tutorials I’ve watched have started on the left and so do the patterns. Same for me with normals

I do both! I like to make keychains that match, so I sometimes invert the pattern by simply starting on the far right and following the pattern from the left. I find it's the easiest way to invert it without it messing with my head.

I start on the left unless there are a few color changes immediately in the first line on the left. I make bracelets left-handed and right handed so I can start at the right if I need to.

I start on the left cuz the arrows on the pattern start from the left so I just follow it or I would be probably very confused
