Quilting, painting, and some basic sculpting when I have the material, lol.I like historically inspired quilts like the ones from the civil war era. With painting I like making natural landscapes, lots of trees, waterfalls, lol. Anything that can be done in 2 to 8 hours mostly lol. And sculpting geometric-ish looking things, sometimes functional, sometimes not. But basically I like to have Pinterest boards full of ideas, buy the supplies, and stash said supplies for later like a squirrel in the fall. That's probably my main crafting hobby at the moment, lol. |

My "primary" medium I'd say painting, either watercolor, acrylic or more commonly a combo of both. I like doing mixed media work with scraps and found objects. In that same vein I like to make mixed media sculptures and wall hangs-very Little Mermaid core.I also like to draw mandalas and other art that highlights the geometry in nature... It's interesting that I can already see these themes coming through in the bracelets I design! I'm going to community college in the spring to study fine arts, and that will be the first time I've ever taken an art class 🙂 I can't wait to see what new hobbies get added to the list! |
