how did you learn to make bracelets? both alpha and normal.I learned to make alpha bracelets by an offline class, but I'm looking for somewhere where I can to make learn normal bracelets as well |

I learned normals from a tutorial in a magazine and alphas from YouTube videos.If you want to learn, there are many great YouTubers, for example MashaKnots. I can really recommend her 🙂 she has great videos on both alphas and normals. |

At first, I only made daisy chains which I learned from a youtube tutorial.Then, I found BraceletBook, watched a video on how to read normal patterns and just went from there 🙃 |

I actually learned how to make normals about 30 years ago from a group of friends. We all started out making Chinese Staircases, and then moved on to Candy stripes and Chevrons, and eventually Diamonds and X's all without ever seeing a pattern or tutorial (there was no YouTube back then, and yes I am older than Google! 🤪). I had never made an alpha until a couple of months ago though. For those I watched a bunch of YouTube videos before I tried my first one. I still have a lot to work on for alphas and getting the colour switches and rows looking better and straighter but I am definitely seeing improvements and everyone here is really great about offering suggestions on how to get better! ❤️
