I can't believe I'm asking for advice on the internet this is lowkey embarrassing. ANYWAYS, I'm thinking about transferring to a new school next year. I have been at my current school for a good four years but the school I want to go to has so many better opportunities for college credits that I need. The only thing is that if I go to this new school, I have to leave my friends. They are really amazing people but if I leave the school, I'll never see them. I've seen what happens when other people leave my school and no one ever stays in contact with them. I know it's stupid because school is about school so I should obviously go to the better one, but I'm not a hundred percent sure I'll be happy if I transfer. I also don't want to have to leave my school, be gone for a year, and then come back. Should I transfer schools and just make new friends, or should I stay? help 🤯

You’ll thank yourself in the future for putting school first and it’s up to you wether you stay in contact with friends. If you value the relationship put time into and you’re unlikely to lose them. Good luck! 🙂
