Technically I'm kind of charcuterie board. My mom has a lot of Lebanese so I got a lot of that. But my dad has scandinavian in his blood line so he and my sister are blonde (my sister looks like a west coast girl lol) and my dad looks like a viking since he grew his hair and beard out lol. Then my great-great grandparents from my mom's side (I think?) came from Germany. I'm not really of one culture and we don't do things from a single culture (we throw out quotes from Nacho Libre in a Spanish accent on a daily basis so there you go lol) or speak any of those languages (German, Dutch, etc.) I just ✨exist✨

No not really. There's a Lebanese luncheon sometime during the year (idek when) around here and there's a couple that goes to our church and the husband is like a second cousin of my grandpa or something like that and they go to it apparently. I'm pretty sure I've had some Lebanese dishes before but nothing super fancy or recognizably Lebanese. And the only thing German about me other than some blood is my name, which is derived from the word that means "pearl" (which was totally on accident. My mom just found the name on a baby name website and it was like the 38th most popular baby name in the 80s or something) we just found out what my name meant (we googled it) a few years ago

@Hylia224 Thats so cool that you know the history of your name. All I know about mine is that its an Arabic, Persian, and Hebrew name 😂.

Does your name mean the same thing in all 3 languages?(And me and my siblings know how our names came to be our own because we'd ask once a week or so when we were younger lol. We had just thought to Google them a few years ago when we were curious for some I reason, I don't even remember the context) |

Ooo that's cool. Very royalty-like ✨ I have a funny coincidence with my name. So I took dance classes and in my first class ever, when I was 3, there was a girl there with the EXACT same name as me (like usually it's spelled with 2 T's but my mom has a thing against extra letters in names. Anyways, hers was spelled with 1 T too!) Luckily her last name began with S (mine starts with K) so it wasn't TOO confusing, if our teacher used our last names. I ended up bumping into her at one of our recitals like 10 years later and a girl came up and was like "so wait, you're both -insert name-?" Yeah, yeah we are 😂 |

Name spellings are annoying. Like there should just be one way to spell each name. It'd make life easier lol especially with pronunciation
