I currently have about 8 going, only half of which I'd actually like to finish, and I'm planning on starting more. I'm going to college in October and there's no way I'm gonna have room for all my string in my dorm so I plan on starting at least 10 bracelets every time I come home (hopefully around once a month) and taking them with me. So I'm curious, how many bracelets do other people have going at a time? I know masha knots sometimes batch starts bracelets at the beginning of the month, but do other people do that too?

I usually keep it at 1, to make sure i will actually finish it and i like seeing the progress. To me, it van easily feel overwhelming (1 bracelet to finish compared to 20 to finish etc.). But, in the end, it means whatever feels best for YOU. Each their own method, and i think it is for you to probably try some different ones until you find one that suits you best. I did bring my stuff to my dorm, and in between i had time to make bracelets and alpha's more than i figured i would. 😊

I like to start 1 so I will finish it. I think if you get a bunch of string and put it on bobbins and get an organizer you could fit it on a drawer

I currently have uhh 25+ probably around 40 or 35 atm but they’re just started to prep for an artisan festival I’m selling at. Usually I have between 2 and 15 started tho

@cadencevan thanks for the storage tips! But the string itself not fitting isn't the issue, it's that I have like 5 creative hobbies which all require supplies that take up space (especially crochet) so I really have to minimize the amount of supplies I'm taking per hobby if I don't wanna abandon any. Also besides regular embroidery floss I really like using size 8 cotton perle (about half as thin, I like it better for 20+ string patterns) and that on its own is currently taking up an entire drawer in my bedroom bc it comes in 80m balls.
