So, I was just wondering… I often see really awesome, really big alpha patterns. And I wanna make this work of art because it’s absolutely beautiful, but like I can’t realistically finish a 100x100 alpha, so a lot of the time I request the artist to make a smaller version like 40x40. Or if they’re not willing, I could try to make one and give credit to the original artist. And to me that’s a compliment, like your content is dope and I want that piece in my life. Hehe. But, does anyone see it as rude that I request smaller versions? Do you think it comes across in a bad way? Thanks for coming to my TED Talk :} |

nope i don’t think it’s rude at all! like you said, if it were my pattern i would be thrilled that you liked it enough to want to make it on a scale that’s more appropriate for you!

I agree with @tkd2010! There's nothing wrong with wanting to modify a pattern within your comfort zone. Go for it!

It’s not rude at all! I’ve gotten that request a few times and even recently posted one. As long as you’re polite and willing to accept if they say no, then it’s perfectly fine to ask
