ok, so i’m going on a flight in a couple of days (like 12 hr flight 🥲) and i really want to crochet on the flight, but i have metal hooks. i know i obvi can’t bring scissors on cuz it’s a hazard or whatevs, but can i bring my hooks? they are really good hooks and i’d be so sad if they got confiscated! thanks!!

Hey! I've never actually been on a flight with my crochet stuff so I don't know if they allow metal hooks, but do you have time to run and get some plastic hooks? That could solve the problem

I don't crochet, but I know people who do. I talked to a lady who was able to take them one way on a flight, but on the way back they wouldn't let her take them. So it could go either way I suppose. |

I would buy some plastic hooks just in case. Even if its just aluminum, it would really suck for them to be confiscated :'0

@CrazyTwinz thank you! i was able to bring my crochet hooks, but just had a pair of my scissors taken. i had an extra pair though, so all was good!!
