I've only recently started to use BraceletBook (random question, but how long is recent?), and I'm wondering what, do you think are some taboos when it comes to BB? I don't want to accidently offend anybody, and am low-key curious

Most of the important “no-no’s” are actually laid out in the website guidelines tbh. But the only things I’ve personally seen people get in trouble for is being repeatedly hateful/trolling and outright copying/stealing patterns from other users or the internet. Other than those things, everything is pretty subjective and people have different opinions on what’s okay and what’s not. For example, I see a fair amount of users say in their bio that they don’t accept certain/all friend requests while others accept all of them (like me!). But if something really bothers someone, I notice that they’ll usually say so in their bio

Don't rate a pattern very low (one star). Especially don't do so with multiple patterns of the same user in a row. If you accidentally rate a pattern very low, apologise to the user.

If you don't like a pattern and you want to leave a comment about it, either don't or make sure that it is constructive and still friendly.

If you want to use elements from someone else's pattern in your pattern, ask them beforehand. Never copy a pattern and only make minimal changes to it.

Be nice to the moderators 😉 we are all volunteers and don't get payed for it. We help run braceletbook because we enjoy it.

If you run into any issues with other users, message a moderator about it. We are always willing to help. It's better to avoid big conflicts from the beginning.

Make sure to read our guidelines. They'll let you know what isn't allowed on braceletbook.
