I’m having trouble with my bracelets. I used to make bracelets all the time but I quit for a while and now that I’m making them again I keep having big holes between my knots. How much tension do you guys use when making your knots? Am I doing something wrong? |

I pull my knots fairly tight... how tight do you pull your knots?

I’ve tried tight and light but I keep ending up with gaps.

I know you’re supposed to do two knots on each string. Do you do them separate or like two loops then pull them up?

Do the knots separate and try holding your thread closer to the actual bracelet so you have more control on where the knots go and how they form

What matters is the first half of your knot. Make sure it's in the place you want the knot to be. The second knot just secures the knot.

If you want to get rid of the gaps then you need to pull tighter. You don’t want to pull too tight other wise your strings could snap or your bracelet wouldn’t be as good quality as it could.
