How to Edit an existing normal pattern

Hi everyone! I am trying to make a normal pattern, but I want to use the straight edge technique. To make this easier, I would like to save a version of the pattern with the extra strings and knots but i cannot figure out how to do this.

Hey! So you can't edit an existing pattern on BB aside from variations in colour What people usually do for straight edge is screenshot the pattern and draw lines on either side of it, and then mark off where would be fb/bf knots accordingly (https://youtu.be/Hft_KoLaUCc or https://youtu.be/YkN7VX0gVfQ explain it further) 😊 |

You cannot edit existing patterns , but you could- draw the pattern on graph paper and add the straight edges there (easy) - recreate the pattern from scratch in the generator and add straight edges (a bit more difficult) I have written this tutorial on the straight edges technique https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/ |
