I'm just curious what you all make/use your "bracelets" for! For instance, I almost never make actual bracelets out of my patterns, but I love to use them as bookmarks since I am an avid reader. 🥰 I have a friend who loves to make them as keychains as well. Anybody else have creative ways they use these patterns?? 😊

I've started making keychains recently, i made one with #146987 (i posted a photo, too) and am planning to make one with #146984 next. I was thinking of sewing them back to back so only the front faces show since alphas are always so messy on the back side.

You know, when i got the keychain rings from a craft store, they only came in bags of 30, so i ended up with way too many. maybe i should start making keychains out of normal patterns?
once the school year is over, i'll have WAY more time for this sort of thing, so i'll probably make a lot.

My bf wants me to make cuffs for his jacket, and we measured that it needs to be a 12 inch bracelet around each arm 😅 wish me luck lol

If you attach two lobster swivel clasps to both ends, you can make a really long strap. I'm working on a camera strap right now. Looks best with 40+ strings.
But I always wondered what else can I do with this skill...

@just_for_u I love that! I can't even imagine how long your threads would need to be for that though 😂

I love to give my bracelets to people I come across in my day-today life as just random acts of kindness, and as donations to local causes. 😊

I spend a lot of time at doctor offices, and I love giving them to other patients in the waiting room and the office staff. I feel like if you have to go to the doctor, you need something to brighten your day. And I love making the staff feel appreciated! I love seeing the expression on a person's face when I offer them a bracelet and they realize it is just a act of kindness and it brightens their day. (At first, most people think I'm trying to sell it to them, but I explain that I just make them as art therapy and like to share them with people for free. 😅)

@KrazyKnotz That's amazing! I give a lot of mine away too, I just enjoy making them and don't need so many. A lot of people suggest turning it into a side hustle but I'm a firm believer that not every hobby needs to be monetized! 😅 Don't need to turn something I enjoy doing into a source of stress. I love the idea of passing them out at doctor's offices! My husband is chronically ill/disabled so we spend a lot of time at medical facilities as well. I'll have to bring a few with me next time he has an appointment. 🥰

I think I'm going to make my dog a new collar - I'll have to pick a good wide pattern and maybe invest in some very strong thread and clamps + D rings , but I definitely think it's possible !

II use them as bracelets or as key rings, I also like to give away my homemade things, because I think a homemade gift adds personality to the gift, so to speak, and the person receiving the gift notices that the gift comes from the heart and that you didn't just buy something but took your time, made an effort, I also think it's always great when you, I think even a card is enough (as long as it's self-written) because it's also homemade, I hope that answers the question and someone has read through this 😅
