ok so im so tired of this. my best friend is literally so perfect. like ok not actually but the thing is she's so much better than me and we joke about it sometimes. like one of my friends the other day was joking like "oh you got the good grade because she's your best friend obviously" and then i was just like laughing it off and saying "hmm are you sure it's not the other way around and she's getting all the good grades because of me" and that other friend just sorta looked at me like "lol u know that's not true" and i mean i know i shouldnt care that much about this but this happens like with frequency... i feel like people look at me and the only thing they think is "oh it's her, the really smart kid's best friend!" and oh my gosh i am so tired of it. like i love my best friend sm but like im just so annoyed when people look at me and the only reason why they actually care even the smallest bit about me is because i'm her best friend. and like that's understandable though because i mean im really dumb and she's really smart so i don't know how we're even like best friends but we are and likeok idk anymore it's just im so so tired of it always listening to her getting amazing grades and everything and then it's not like i get bad grades like sometimes i even get better grades than her, like today after this geometry quiz we had, but she's just overall better at everything and just knows everything and i just suck at everything so ig it's a futile attempt but we're both in like the high ability/honors/ap classes or whatever you wanna call it and we both get all "a"s but im just never good enough and i feel like a disappointment to everyone and i bet people wonder why she and i are even friends at all because literally i look like an idiot compared to her |

Well, I’m in the situation where my friend Alexis has a different friend named Hannah, and Hannah is jealous of me being Alexis’ friend. Honestly, Alexis and I are tired of it.Try saying you are smart and your grades aren’t because of ur friend. |
