sage-wolf Bracelet King	2 years ago by sage-wolf hey y’all. so, i’m non-binary and lesbian. and closeted which suckssss. and here’s why i’m still closeted.( this is a bit of a vent so like u don’t have to read it if you don’t want that) so, i was 8 and this is when i had my first gay crush and started to think i might be bi. i wanted to come out then, but i didn’t because i knew people were weird abt young gays. and even my crush was weird abt it, which sucked. now, it’s 2021, and i’m like 99% sure i’m lesbian and not rlly sure i’m a girl either. so, i reach out to my gay friend maddie who i’ve known since i was 8. after talking to them i definitely know i’m nb and les, so we keep talking, and yk it’s fine. they’re kinda just a safe person i know won’t out me. but then comes august and my parents read my texts. they see everything and get pretty upset abd have a talk w me, but don’t ground me. but i’m still confused and tired and everything else so i go on minecraft w maddie to talk where my parents won’t see, but later they look again and get mad at me for talking to maddie anywhere they can’t see, and i admit that we talked abt lgbtq. i got grounded for 6 MONTHS. and my parents claim to support lgbtq but when their freaking child is they ground them. they say i’m too young to know or talk about it, too old to be trans or non-binary, and that my hormones just haven’t kicked in, “you were always fine with being a girl”, “but you liked levon so you’re not lesbian”, “do you even know what that means” my mom is the weird one abt this, she never calls trans ppl their correct pronouns only “they”, she said that she doesn’t like how “women give up their femininity bc they think it’s trendy to decide to be trans or non-binary” (she actually said decide but also preaches that it’s not a choice and that i can’t decide it) i’m not saying i can, she just thinks i am? it’s confusing my dad is fine like he was mad too but rlly just bc i did it again after they said no the first time. one time he instead of scrolling past an lgbt dnd video when i was watching w him he kept it on? idk if that means anything or no but like he’s good abt it rlly good. now i’m crushing on a girl, idk what to do, and gender dsyphoria is kinda bad rn. i just wanted y’all to know what’s going on rn, and yeah. ima just tag my friends list down here if y’all maybe have any advice or support ? @dracula @apples123 @gerardway @Someony @behappy8 @fatima_msv @hollow_log @ChaosZone @kindcat @BeachyEm @nonhuman @Aussie_Izz @tkd2010 @srimpy @peteypie21 @KhyaDog

srimpy Skiller	2 years ago by srimpy @sage-wolf ok than well f your afraid of your moms disapproval than maybe subtly but firmly tell her maybe?bc maybe just start with telling your dad and than ask your dad to tell your mom ?and if you don’t want to do that than maybe start with telling your mom that you’re 🏳️‍🌈and than if that goes well maybe a while after that you can tell her that your nb ? But idk abt this kinda stuff but I’m here soo I just did this...I hope this helps!
