Adding string to an eternal wave bracelet

There are lots of videos on how to add string to a bracelet ... but all of them focus on moving the short string to the back of the bracelet (to be covered up as you continue tying) and every instruction I've seen shows adding string somewhere in the body of the bracelet -- not the edge (first or last string). What tips do you have if 1. you are working on an eternal wave bracelet (where you actually work what will be the back of the bracelet). You cannot leave the short string in what is the back as you are working, but will be the front when it is worn? 2. What do you do if the short string is next to the diamond, which is the center of the pattern. You can't have a different color string covering the diamond 3.. Finally -- and this applies to all bracelets -- what do you do if the short string is the first or last string of the bracelet . You can't forward knot onto those bracelets, it's harder to try to cover it up as the bracelet is worked, etc etc . |
