I just pressed submit pattern to site when I was still editing it. Is there a way to unsend the submission and keep editing?

you could ask the moderators to decline it, or when it gets accepted you can ask the moderators to remove it from the site. Sadly, you can't get your progress back and will have to start over.

Yes, if the pattern is declined, it will just be back in your drafts. I will let the other mods know to decline it 🙂
