My question is do you need/should you ask the creator of a pattern before selling the bracelet you made from their pattern? As in you make a bracelet using someone’s pattern and then want to sell it.What is your opinion on that? |

I think it's nice to ask 🙂Some users don't want their pattern to be used in this way. Others are completely fine with it or even really appreciate it. |

Also I should add: I was discussing this with someone irl who didn’t think it mattered much to ask before selling things made from others’ patterns. But I personally feel it’s their work and they created it so you should ask. Anyway was curious what others thought so I made this thread.

I would try to message them but some users are not active anymore. Check their bios too. Some mention it in there

@mrs_jordan yeah I was able to find some people mentioning in their bios that they allow other to sell what they create using their patterns. But yeah if people aren’t active it’s difficult; I messaged one person but not sure if I’ll get a response. In that case I of course will not use their pattern.
