Leftover thread ideas

I have made a lot of bracelets over the years and I have been keeping my leftover threads and divided them in different sections depending on length. I'm looking for ideas on what to make with them. I have some of 10 inches, 20 inches and 30 inches.

i used to give them to my pet rats / hamsters and they’d put it in their little beds they made. im sure birds would like them too if you can’t find another use!!

@shantelle2 if you do this, I think it would be best to cut the strings very short so they don't get harmed, if they ingest it.

@halokiwi yes of course!! i used to cut them to about 2” or less and leave them in a pile on my porch, short enough so they can’t wrap around their heads. like a pile of colourful hair

@shantelle2 it could be a good idea but yes I agree that it would have to be cut short so the birds don't get hurt. ps. I'm also Canadian and born in Ontario. I just live in Quebec now |
