My dilemma is that I'm supposed to sell at an event upcoming event and I am kind of excited but certain people who have paid for my embroidery floss in the past and who will be helping me at this event have been telling me that I am overpricing my bracelets. Just so you get an idea of what I plan on doing, it will cost me $50 for a spot at this event plus about $10 for decor and packaging, etc. My bracelet prices that I want to sell at are:

#64255-$150
Kahoot wall hanging (#44842)-$40
#10183-$30-35
#35338-$30-35
16 string bracelets-$8
Daisy chains-$5
Keychains-$10
Chapstick holder-$15

You get the gist. The thing is I'm the only one selling this kind of craft at this event and I'm not sure if I can handle being constantly told I am over pricing. I already showed this person several popular and not popular etsy shops with similar sized things and this person told me they doubt many people pay those prices. So idk, I have spent at least a year now wanting to sell at an event, I don't feel like I've made enough and I don't want to just give away my hard work for practically nothing. What should I do?

tbh the lagoon wall hanging and chapstick holder are underpriced in my opinion. i totally get what your saying tho people who don’t know just don’t understand how much time is put into each bracelet/keychain/wall hanging. maybe at your booth you can put something like: kahoot wall hanging- (amount of time it took you to make) or something. i hope everything works out and if you need anymore help i’m usually always free! 😊

i can 100% see where they are coming from, but based on the time you put into them i dont think they are overpriced, however if i ever sell anything, i would probably keep it pretty under priced, just because ngl i wouldnt pay that much for something i can make and i dont make bracelets to make money, i do it to relieve anxiety. i would put up something saying like approximately xx feet of string tied for xx hours to make this or something tho, to help ppl appreciate the time put into it. hope everything works out ok and yuo have fun!!!
