hi, so i kinda want to get into fantasy books, but idk where to start. the only fantsay books ive ever read are harry potter and percy jackson, and those were years ago. if anyone has any good recs, preferably not a super long series, i would love to get some recommendations! thank you in advance to anyone who answers <3

cruel prince is good. would consider it more teen ages tho so i’m not sure what you’re looking for. i liked a darker shade of magic…. as well as miss peregrines home for peculiar children

My sister says Snowlands by Morr Meroz (comic) and Wings of Fire, the Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson, Endling by Katherine Applegate and Catalyst by Sarah Beth Durst.Empress Of All Seasons is also good, and you might like the Umbrella Academy (which is a graphic novel), but it's more more sci-fi than fantasy. |

@Discworld Terry Pratchet has been and still is one of my fave authors for ages.He is really good at mixing fun and humorous writing with some really good bigger picture type stories as well. I love how he uses satire as well, and footnotes to make the world he writes about seem more alive somehow |

wait why did I write an @ hdjhdjdh, what I meant is the series "discworld" from the author terry pratchett. there's a few different ways you can read the series, since its not quite a chronolgical series and follows more than one story and protagonist, but it is great.

@TKEStrong3 i honestly dont think ive read anything with superheros yet, so i think i'll try even if just to see if i like it. One of my friends is kinda obsessed with umbrella academy, and we've had similar tastes so far, so im hoping it'll be good : )
