help!🏳️🌈 there's this girl...and i need some advice

So on the first day of school this year i noticed this girl. she's new to the school, and we pretty much have the same schedule except our lunches and electives periods are switched. so like the first day i was like hi and introduced myself, but then we didn't really talk that much. and so fast forward a few weeks later and it becomes apparent to me i have a crush on her, i obviously don't tell anyone because this crush i might forget about in a couple weeks. but in every class she pretty much sits a few rows in front of me so i can't help but notice her. she's pretty and nice and kind and attractive and i can't help but love her. whenever i think of her it makes me feel all happy and calm. so one time in math class when we were working on an assignment she tapped me on my shoulder and wanted my help with a math problem and i obviously helped her. and those are like the only two interactions we have with each other. but this past week i've been noticing something. so like i said she sits kinda in front of me in every class and now i've been noticing that she keeps looking back at me, and we make eye contact and we smile at each other. her smile kills me, but anyways... so we keep making eye contact and smiling at each other and i dont know if she's just being nice, or if she wants to be friends with me or if she also has a crush on me! i want to talk to her to see if we could hang out and get to know each other but i'm scared. i don't really know her that well but i want to and i dont even know what all this smiling at each other is about so i don't know what to do. should i talk to her? or should i just keep smiling at her and wait and see? what should i do! thanks for reading this pointless ramble, and if anyone has any advice please help.🙏🏼🌈

Ok, so I am and always have been single, but I have had an experience similar to yours. I would recommend making small talk first, then slowly transitioning into full on conversations about what she is interested in. Try to find things that you have in common, so that you can spark up a more interesting conversation.

@sparklypin every time i was planning to go say something to her today, she was talking to one of her friends and i didn't want to interrupt there conversation, so i didnt say anything 😭😭😭 but she did smile at me twice in science class

@ FunnyLlama Aaaawwwwww! welp, theres always tomorrow. I know its stupid, but try passing her a note and ask to talk at a specific time, like meet up before class or something.

@FunnyLlamma well i'm bi and i feel like girls are easier to talk to about these things but i would say baby step cause like once you are friends/friendly with her you have an excuse to ask fo her number and from there you can keep going like asking her to hang and ask her what music she likes (girl in red) also notice small things like if she cuffs her jeans and ask like what her preferred pronouns are and then that could lead to the sexuality talm and that could lead to i have a crush on you i hipe this helps!!!!!
