where do you guys get your string?

my mom bought me a pack from walmart but i’m running a little low on fun colours and want more variety, where do you guys suggest getting string?

I like using DMC 6-strang cotton embroidery floss, which is cheapest at Hobby Lobby (at least where I live). I usually buy induvial skeins of different colors, but I'm pretty sure they also have packs. 🙂

i just go to the stink isle at michaels they have lots of embroidery floss and craft cord and even some string used for sewing! they also have some string boxes that, from experience, are very helpful!

The store that sells embroidery floss where I live is Michael’s so I get dmc and loops and threads because that’s what they have. There’s also sometimes threads at certain dollar stores which I buy and I occasionally order threads from Etsy or amazon

Michaels has the largest selection and quality. Not only do they have dmc, which most say is the best quality and has the largest selection, they have loops and thread. They have really expanded their selection of loops and threads and it is good quality. Le Paon is my favorite brand on amazon!

walmart. i got the jp coats pack and it has like 100 diff colors…. but i think that different walmarts have a different selection of string because i’ve gone to other ones and they don’t even have any six strand embroidery floss so idk. i get the dmc 6 strand ones if i want more specific colors

i get them at Michaels! :] the brand i get is DMC, funnily enough my local Walmart sells that thread as well, which i've never seen before 😆
