i plan to make some bracelet patches but idk how to get them onto my backpack. anybody have suggestions?

You can sew them on. There may also be some kind of adhesive that you could attach to the back to iron it on, but I think just sewing it on would be the easiest/most efficient/cheapest way to do it.

The first thing I would do is glue a piece of felt onto the back so that you have a thicker patch. Then you could either stitch it on, or use a big safety pin to pin it on.
