Ugh, that's exact the same thing with my drawings. I started so many pieces, have tons of ideas and sketches, and I rarely finish any of them.Mostly I get frustrated during the period, where you start to refine everything, and putting details in your artwork. It's a really long process and you can't see quick results. First, don't force yourself to do one. If you do it anyways, you may not have that much joy, and you get frustrated very easily. (I used to force myself for doing commissions for others, and my passion of creating art gradually faded away.) Try some smaller, quicker bracelets, you can complete in 1 or 2 hours. They are really fun to make, and you have quick results. Don't overwhelm you with too complex patterns, if you are a beginner, or trying to get into braceletmaking again. As I mentioned earlier, it can get really frustrating seeing just minor results after hours of knotting. Try to buy new strings! It's always so inspirational when you buy new, special strings. I like to listen podcasts when I make bracelets. Maybe you can find a good podcast you can listen to? It's okay to take a break from braceletmaking. This may help you gain back your motivation. Put all the stuff associated with it aside, so that you can't see it, and get constantly reminded of making bracelets. Try out some other activities. Spending the day outside, doing other crafty things, meet friends and family... Other activities really can help getting your creative juices flowing again. I hope this was helpful to you, and you get back your motivation! ❤️ |
