Has he been to the vet? I'm sorry that this happened and that you're worried about your mom being upset, but it's important to take the cat to the vet so they can do what they need to do to make sure the bones heal properly (sometimes a splint, or maybe even surgery). Your mom would probably be more upset if the bones healed wrong because she was unaware of the situation and couldn't take him to the vet, or if she finds out without you telling her.Would you be in any kind of DANGER if you told your mom and she got angry? If so, that is a bigger issue that you need to discuss with a trusted adult (a teacher, doctor, friend's parent, etc.) If your mom would just be sad about the cat, or frustrated that this happened, you should tell her. I know it can be scary to approach parents with things that might upset them, but most parents are there to support and help you. She would want to know, so she can help you take care of the cat. Like you said, she loves the cat, so she would want him to receive the care that he needs so he can heal properly. Good luck |

i know! take a vet course in school then u can help the cat and no one has to know! hey can mammals get infections internally due to broken bones, even though there was no exposure to air to get infection-causing germs? |

I'm glad the cat has been to the vet, but you should still tell your mom. If the cat has been to that vet before, they will have your mom's phone number, billing information, address, etc. She is going to find out anyway, and it would be better if it came from you.

I would tell her. Cause she’s going be more upset if the cat gets a infection and dies. Or if the bone is shattered, it needs repaired asap

yea you should definitely tell her so the cat gets proper care. bc more than likely she’ll be more mad you hid it from her than if you just tell her. and it’s not good for the cat to be walking round with broken bones yk?
