Hellos there(:

I haven’t made a bracelet in maybe 2 months and I still feel like im in a rut. I was wondering if anyone is in the same boat? Ways to get out it?

Thank you <3

I was in one for about the same amount of time. I went to Michaels and got some new string to help motivate me!

Hi! I recommend watching Masha Knots’s video on YouTube on how to get out of a slump! I totally get where you’re coming from, as I was in a slump for almost two years, then finally found my enjoyment for it again. But for starters, maybe almost force yourself to create a very small bracelet? Something like a Chinese Staircase or a Daisy Chain… one that wont take too much time. But also maybe make it with a special thread you’ve never used but always wanted to, like multicolored or sparkly string!! Hope this helps💕

I recommend trying to find a pattern that you really like or new string/color combo. You could also try making a bracelet for someone else as a gift. I find that if I'm making a bracelet as a gift, I'm more motivated to make it, even if I don't feel like working on it. I often make bracelets for friends or family as gifts for birthdays, xmas, etc.
Hope this helps!

I’m also in a bracelet slump and have been in one off and on for over 4 months now. I have made small thin bracelets here in there but I haven’t had the courage to make a bigger one (mainly alphas) because I end up starting them and never finishing them (although a lot of have a lot of unfinished bracelets) I do recommend that you make small bracelets and slowly go on to bigger ones.

I would say watching youtube videos helps watching other people make bracelets. I personally love to go through the photos on here and look at the amazing pictures which makes me want to make a bracelet that looks just as good lol
