Hi,

I'm just wondering how you guys wash alphas in particular so that the threads anchored in the back don't untangle but it still gets clean. DO you put them through the washing machine, or just spot-check them?

Thanks!

I would recommend using a bowl of lightly soapy water as then rinse them in some water in the sink and let dry. I have only done with none soapy water but if you want to get the smell out it might be better to use soapy. Maybe just try it with plain water first and if that doesn’t work try the other. Up to you! Also a warning; if you wash it to many times it might start losing its color.

Keep in mind embroidery floss is often made of cotton or polyester - like your clothes. I generally take mine off in the shower and scrub it with soap and a loofa or throw it in a delicates bag and chuck it in with the laundry.

i just wear them in the shower. sometimes if i had to take them off for something and put them in a pocket they end up in the washer but i make enough bracelets that i just view jt as encouraging me to wear different ones when they get too worn lol

i NEVER take off my bracelets. i wore them to the beach and they got sand in them so when i went home i SCRUBBED them under the sink with soap. they came clean but one ripped while i was cleaning it lmao 👍
