Okay so for special bending:
Water= bl**d and plant
Fire= lightning
Earth= lava and metal
Air= N/A

So if lightning is energy and fire benders bend the energy, wouldn’t it make sense for firebenders to be able to energy bend? Here are the other ones, if glass is melted sand, and earthbenders can bend sand i.e sandbenders, couldn’t they technically bend glass? And then shouldn’t waterbenders be able to bend anything that contains water? And for airbenders, anything that contains air like balloons or blimps? Is this just me

And if humans contain air, such as oxygen in bl**d, or in the lungs, which is seen later in LOK, but in theory, wouldn't air benders be able to do some form of bl**d bending

soo I think the main difference with the lightning / energy bending is the origin? bc the lightning redirection comes from balancing your chi and your +/- charges like what lightning has, so the firebenders are essentially a lightning rod haha. And the show is technicallyyy focusing on the charges in lightning instead of its acc amount of energy. But it might be something that the next avatar from the fire nation could combine!!

And the bl/d bending is with the full moon where waterbenders have their strongest powers + a tonn of training, so whenever the air nomads have their powers at their fullest then they could also practice that skill but ig knocking the pure air out of someone is more effective haha

But I agree with the glass bending / air bending w balloons etc those things could defo happen if they tried it - the glass bending would be super cool to see! 😄 😄
