i didn't cry with it but I think radio silence by alice oseman is an emotional read, i love it, it is focused on mainly on friendship so not really a romance but personally i thought it made it more unique

Legend is like a dystopian series that’s like action but also romance. It’s sooooooo good especially the third book. Also it’s not your basic romance where the girl is trying to get the guy, it’s more of like a mutual need for each other which is kinda nice to switch things up.
