I think hotdogs are sandwiches. It’s just filling inside bread which is exactly what a sandwich is.

Yes, i think in a way, a hotdog is indeed a sandwitch.... as for the cereal as a soup... I dont think its a soup, because for something to be a soup it needs vegetables and meat.
